However, users need the Teams Phone license, which is available either as a standalone or as a part of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.o365cloudexperts.com\/office-365-e5\/\">Office 365 E5<\/a> or Microsoft 365 license. Additionally, a phone number should be assigned using Microsoft Teams Calling Plan, Direct Routing, or Operator Connect. Finally, Common Areal Phone licenses are required if common area devices are used.
