A digital assistant is a software-based application or service that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) to perform tasks, provide information, or assist users in various activities. The latest beta version of Microsoft Copilot allows you to set it as your\u202fdefault assistant on Android devices.\u202fTraditionally, Google Assistant<\/strong> held this role, but Copilot<\/strong> provides an alternative option.<\/em><\/p>\n

As of now, you can set\u202fMicrosoft 365 Copilot<\/strong>\u202fas your Default Digital Assistant<\/strong> on Android phones, replacing Google Assistant or Gemini. To do so, follow these steps.<\/p>\n

  1. First, you need to Install the Microsoft Copilot (Beta) app<\/strong> from the Google Play Store.<\/strong>\"Install<\/li>\n
  2. Once the application has been downloaded, open the Settings app on your Android Phone.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to Apps > Default apps > Digital Assistant app.<\/strong>\"Microsoft<\/li>\n
  4. Now Tap on Default Google Assistant<\/strong> at the top, once it\u2019s open.<\/li>\n
  5. Then you need to select Copilot<\/strong> and confirm your choice, as seen in the Screenshot<\/strong> below.\"select
