Thomson Reuters Upgrade to M365

An upgrade is coming to Thomson Reuters Virtual Office, and Apps4Rent is here to help.

Microsoft licensing updates are driving changes in how Microsoft Office is delivered within Thomson Reuters Virtual Office CS and SaaS environments. Beginning in May 2026, customers will transition to using Microsoft 365 licenses that they own and manage through a CSP partner.

To prepare for this change, customers should obtain a supported Microsoft 365 license, such as Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 F3, E3, E5, or Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise. (Plans like Microsoft 365 Business Basic or Business Standard do not meet the technical requirements for these environments.) As part of this transition, VO Hosted Exchange will also be sunset. Customers currently using Hosted Exchange will need to migrate their email data to Microsoft 365. Securing the appropriate Microsoft 365 license is essential, and taking action early will help ensure a well-planned and timely transition.
