How many users does Office 365 Business Premium support?

Office 365 Business Premium supports a maximum of 300 users. For business that need more than 300 users, we have other Office 365 plan options.

What happened to the Office 365 Small Business Premium / Office 365 Midsize Business plans?

The Office 365 Small Business Premium and Office 365 Midsize Business plans have been replaced by one new plan, called “Office 365 Business Premium.” Office 365 Business Premium combines the best features and services into one plan, with a maximum of 300 users.

Can I move from Business Premium Plan to other Office 365 Plans?

Yes. You can upgrade and switch to a different plan and transition your account to it. As an example, you can upgrade from an Office 365 Business Premium to an Office 365 Enterprise plan. For less than 300 users, you can upgrade directly through the Switch plans wizard in your Admin center. For more than 300 users, and certain other conditions, the upgrades will have to be done manually. After the upgrade, your domain name will also be transferred to your new account.

Is it possible to do a mix-and-match of Office 365 Plans?

Yes. You can do a mix-and-match within certain license limitations of the respective plans. To cite a specific case, the Office 365 Business Premium plan has a limit of 300 users, while the Enterprise plans support unlimited number of users. So as a tenant, you can purchase 300 users of any/all of Business plans and combine with another 300+ number of users of any/all Enterprise plan.
